Eligibility

Who Can Join?

Membership is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

Residents or workers within the Kyaddondo area
Ugandan citizens or legal residents aged 18 years and above
Individuals with a regular or verifiable source of income
Employees, self-employed persons, and small business owners
Farmers, boda boda riders, and informal sector workers
Youth groups and community-based organisations (as group members)
Women's groups and savings clubs affiliated with CBS PEWOSA
What You Need

Required Documentation

Please bring the following when applying for membership:

National ID (or valid passport/driving permit)
Original + photocopy required
Recent passport-size photographs
2 colour photographs
Completed membership application form
Available at our offices or download below
Proof of residence or workplace
LC letter, utility bill, or employer letter
Initial share contribution payment
Minimum share amount as advised by SACCO
Registration fee
One-time non-refundable fee

As a member-owned institution, every member contributes to the SACCO's capital through share purchases and regular savings.

Share Contribution

Minimum shares purchased at joining. Additional shares can be purchased at any time.

Monthly Savings

Members are encouraged to save a set minimum each month. This builds your loan eligibility over time.
