By accessing or using the PEWOSA SACCO website (the "Site") or any of our digital services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use this Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, members, prospective members, and any other users of the Site. Access to certain features — such as member account portals or loan application forms — may require you to be a registered member of PEWOSA SACCO.

2. About PEWOSA SACCO

Kyaddondo CBS PEWOSA SACCO is a savings and credit cooperative organisation (SACCO) incorporated and operating in Uganda. We are licensed and regulated by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority (UMRA) and affiliated with the Cooperative Business Services (CBS) network.

Our registered office is located in Kampala, Uganda. All financial products and services described on this Site are offered exclusively to eligible members in accordance with Uganda's cooperative and financial services legislation.

3. Use of the Website

You may use this Site for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree to:

• Use the Site only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise authorised in writing by PEWOSA SACCO
• Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Site, related systems, or networks
• Not use any automated tools, scripts, or bots to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site
• Not transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content through any contact or application forms on the Site
• Comply with all applicable Ugandan laws and regulations when using the Site

4. Member Accounts & Security

Where the Site provides access to member account areas or portals, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to:

• Keep your password secure and not share it with any third party
• Notify PEWOSA SACCO immediately at the contact details in Section 13 if you suspect unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account credentials

PEWOSA SACCO will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, page layouts, and software — is the property of Kyaddondo CBS PEWOSA SACCO or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided that you:

• Do not modify the content in any way
• Retain all copyright and other proprietary notices
• Do not use the content for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from PEWOSA SACCO

Nothing on this Site constitutes financial, legal, investment, or professional advice. Information about savings products, loan products, and membership benefits is provided for general informational purposes only.

All financial products and services offered by PEWOSA SACCO are governed by the applicable membership agreements, loan agreements, and product terms provided at the time of application. These Terms do not modify or supersede those contractual documents.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ugandan law, PEWOSA SACCO shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

10. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use this Site to:

• Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity
• Impersonate any person, member, or PEWOSA SACCO employee
• Attempt to hack, probe, or test the vulnerability of our systems
• Submit false or misleading information in any application, form, or enquiry
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Engage in money laundering or any activity prohibited under the Anti-Money Laundering Act (Uganda)

PEWOSA SACCO reserves the right to report any suspected illegal activity to the relevant Ugandan authorities.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
